So the 4th of July messed up our usual schedule here in TN. Cleveland and Chattanooga groups will be meeting THIS Friday, the 11th, at their usual places. Come on out and help us hash out the problem of evil in this world.

Hey all,
I'm interested in hearing what everyone discusses.
Knoxville, Tn. is changing its topic this week do to a request/questions to: epistimology. In my research it has seemingly opend a huge can of worms. The topic is expansive to say the least. I think that it will be benificial for us as a group though. I've run into this as a road-block to conversation before so I believe it should help us to understand the topic, helping comunication with those outside or confused with the Faith.

Wow! Knoxville had another amazing time last night. The brews were good and the fellowship even better. The group grew to a seven as two of my friends, a married couple, joined us.
We had a change of topic from Theodicy to Epistimology.
I'll post some more info later.

The study of "how we know what we know" also considered the study of "truth." We talked about some different philosophers that shaped the concept such as: Kant, Plato, and others.
One thing that we came to a agreement about was that we needed to be able, and willing, to show people that if what Jesus did was reality, Truth, then they must deal with it in some manner: belief or denial.
I believe that this topic needs me to do some more research, at least for my own sake, so that I am better able to comunicate with those I meet of extreme postmodern views.

Also, if you get a chance, help me figure out a way to get more people commenting on what we should do with the site. I don't want to let that issue go ... content is beyond me at the moment, but I want to architect and build for what the community wants.
