PubPlanters At a Glance

WHO WE ARE

Pub-Planters are the ever-growing, ecumenical-loving, theological-speaking folks who have been meeting all over the country in pubs and bars on the first Friday night of every month to discuss topics such as Ecclesiology, Christology, Pneumatology, and several other “ologies.”

We exist for the education and edification of The Church, and our numbers include people of all Christian denominations (and even a few non-Christians who are interested in Biblical Theology). We also exist to spread the word of God through making relationships in places many Christians would never go. It’s that whole “Go Ye into all the World and preach the Gospel” sort of thing. You may have heard of it. If not, check out the end of the book of Matthew.

In short, we love God, we love people, we love studying and discussing Theology, and most of us love beer. (Note: Drinking beer is certainly not a requirement, but I gotta tell you, a cold one always seems to make me understand the writings of C.S. Lewis better. Just sayin' . . .)
